Session volunteers are a vital link of communication between instructors and participants. Volunteers work with participants to provide emotional, educational, and physical support throughout the session. No prior experience required!
Volunteers must be able to work independently with minimal staff supervision. The minimum age for volunteers is 12.
Ready to get started? Sign up for a volunteer tour. These tours cover the history of The HiRoad, information about the programs that we offer and clients that we serve, as well as the different volunteer positions available. Tours are also a great place to ask any questions you might have about the program or your role as a future volunteer!
After attending a Tour, you will be invited to HiRoad New Volunteer Training where you will have a hands-on learning experience to prepare you for the various beginning volunteer positions.
Barn Maintenance Volunteers help ensure we have a clean, functional barn and a healthy horse herd! Stalls are cleaned and deodorized every day, with slightly different hours on Sunday. Can you spare 3 hours of your time once or twice a week? It makes a big difference!
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in our communities. We work tirelessly to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of those we serve.
